Food was great, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Recommended if you are in area bbq was smoked and flavorful with out sauce.
This was our first visit at Ray’s Southern Foods. We ordered whiting, baked turkey wings, collard greens, potato salad, and fried cabbage. The fish was fried perfectly and didn’t have the taste of reused grease. The turkey wings were really good, which had a nice color and crust. We do not eat pork, we appreciated that only one side dish contained it. We also tried a sample of the salmon chowder, which was delicious!
Food was delicious after being on road with my trucker husband found this app and this restaurant. Was a little nervous but baby RAY did nothing disappoint! We pulled over it’s rest area and had a nice lunch date and the food was fresh and delicious!!!!!! Not salty or over seasoned just good comfort food cooked with love!!!! This will be a regular stop when we’re in Ga from now on. Wth is in that rays punch??? So darn good
The best Shrimp & Grits, I've ever had. The only problem is I WANT SHRIMP & GRITS EVERYDAY & they only serve them on Sundays 😔😋 🥰

Love this place!
Jahmal was very friendly when we walked in. He let us try the punch and mac and cheese. Both were very good. He answered all put questions about the menu. They are taking great precautions with Covid, mask, gloves, cashier shield. If going to take out they give you a number and let you wait in the car. Once food is done they bring it out to you. We got okra, greens, mac and cheese, ribs, cornbread, Ray's punch and banana pudding. Can't wait to try it all.
Amazing!! We walked in and they gave us free samples of their Mac n cheese, cabbage and fruit punch, all of which were incredible. Since we were first time customers they gave us a walk through of their whole menu and gave great recommendations. We got the pulled pork and pulled chicken with baked beans, fries, mac and cheese and banana pudding- all were great.
