In town for a conference and was so glad I found this special quaint place. The food was delicious and service was great. I can’t wait to return with friends.
This was our first but definitely not our last visit to this Bistro. Katlin , our server was gracefully attentive. The food was well seasoned and cooked to perfection in a true Southern style. Compliments to a second generation chef, Chef C. Bennett Jr. a/ka “Pokey” He graced our table and humbly accepted our praise for the delicious meal. My wife had fried catfish, collards with cornbread while I indulged in a catfish & shrimp plate with fries and Mac & Cheese. Celebrating Wifey’s birthday she had a speciality drink that was definitely for the “grown & sexy” Desert was peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream. The hotel rooms were all occupied but we got a tour by the Michael, grandson to the hotel’s namesake Almanett. To booth, the beach is less than a block away! Visit for yourself and I’m confident you’ll enjoy the experience!
