Our delivered meal was delicious and full of flavor! My only complaint is that I wish the serving sizes were bigger. I say that but I’m also stuffed full of good food :)
My family got takeout from Queen Sheba after spending some time in the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest area. The waitress who took our order was pleasant and helpfully answered questions we had about the sizes and how much we should order as a family of five. The food was ready in around 20 minutes, exactly how long we were told it’d be. We took the food to Cal Anderson park, about a two minute walk away, to eat. My mom, stepsister, and I are all vegetarian so we shared two veggie combos. This was more than enough food for the three of us and we all enjoyed the variety of vegetarian choices. I thought the injera was particularly delicious, a bit less sour than others I’ve tried and with a great texture. My stepdad and stepbrother both enjoyed their beef dishes. My stepbrother ordered the okra with beef, despite never having tried okra before, and really liked it. Overall, Queen Sheba is delicious, quick, and convenient, especially during this pandemic when takeout is the only option. The wide variety of dishes allows for people with just about any food restrictions, or none at all, to find something they’ll enjoy.
