Write a reviewOur visit was AMAZING!!! Our server Jasmine was superior?? She took the best care of us. I had the yardbird and the strawberry smash as a cocktail ( per her suggestion) and it was delicious.. everything!! This place is very nice and quant.. music was great.. atmosphere top tier.. and food above top tier!! Would definitely recommend this place for any occasion!!!
Independent of the incredible impact the chef/ owner has had on the Houston food scene and the Black-owned food space in particular…the flavors have been consistently excellent since opening long ago. Definitely on my happy hour list—love sitting at the bar and getting to try a bunch of the different dishes/ bevs.
The ambience was great. Friendly and expedient service. The waffle was great but the chicken needed more seasoning.
Not your Grandma's traditional soulfood. It's been kicked up a notch! Kudos to Chef Chris
