I drove over 100 miles to try out this restaurant recommended by a friend. It was well worth the drive and hour wait. The staff was great and the food was amazing. I remembered to take pictures of our appetizers but when they bought out our main dish it looked so good and I was so hungry I forgot to take the picture until I was halfway through. We had the oxtails and fried chicken and sides. We will definitely be back.
I have now gone back 5 more times and the Mac and cheese is cheesier and crispier then before. The latest time I wanted to try a dish outside of my waffle and chicken and got the smothered pork chop. The gravy is so flavorful and left my mouth watering. Service is always great and helpful and there is honestly not one item that I have tried that Isn’t bomb. Fixins is an establishment that I want to dine at on a weekly basis
