  This is one of the best “Mom & Pop” restaurants in the area. “Mom” runs the VB location, “Pop” does the one in Portsmouth. Both locations are exceptional, and both only do “Take out;” (although, the VB location appears to have “dine in” on the Yelp app). I’ll confirm and edit here if necessary. The food… delicious. Unfortunately I don’t have pics to share; I will however, take some, come back and edit this review. Want GREAT take out Soul Food, in VB or Portsmouth - I’m in Chesapeake, so traveling should not prevent you from patronizing - GAT you some “Ellen’s”
