Love this place. The entire staff is professional, and hospitable, from the time you enter the establishment, until you exit. They genuinely appear to be happy working there. Their disposition is refreshing.
The space is large. If you’re looking to host an event, this is an appropriate venue. The dining section is appropriately adequate, although, not large; I’ve never had to wait for seating.
The food, premier. Everything I’ve eaten, has been good. Everyone I’ve taken there, has been pleased. I always go with the Fried pork chop, and have gray and onions on the side, accompanied by white rice, more gravy, and Collard Greens (only availible on Fridays and Saturdays).
My favorite waitress has also learned to honor my request for Ginger Ale. The restaurant doesn’t have it, so I shared with her how to “make” it, with the carbonated ingredients they do have. She’s perfected it.
When Soul food is what you desire, definitely patronize “The Queen,” you won’t be disappointed.
