If there’s one thing BMB does well, it’s moisture- and it’s consistent. This was a local go-to (just moved) when I didn’t want to yield 2dz for just myself. I was always hoping for more flavor/chocolate to balance the oil/sugar.
Big man bakes have the fluffiest cakes and the sweetest customer service representatives. I went after having an off day and when I mentioned this to the person at the register she kindly offered me and my friends mini cupcakes to cheer me up. The carrot cake was some of the best I’ve had and, for anyone allergic to nuts, is nut free! The old school cupcake cake has almond extract in it and taste like marzipan which is absolute favorite! Would highly recommend if you’re ever in the dtla area!
