I had a great first experience. We ordered the mac and cheese and a sangria. The food tasted so clean, and the sangria was PERFECT. The service was a bit stretched because it was so crowded, but they were hospitable, patient, and went above and beyond to take care of their guests. It almost felt like being in someone's home.
The music was GREAT. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the design and ambience of the restaurant. It was like being in the living room of a fly, mansion, in some tropical country. It's easy to forget where you are.
