  Side chick

  I was informed Side Chick was not a Black or BIPOC owned business. They hired a consultant to create the menu and atmosphere to attract black customers. That is why the name and concept is problematic. Capitalizing after the murder of George Floyd.

  I loved the food and drinks at side chick. And the prices weren’t too bad at all either! I’m sad they closed bc of scrutiny about the name (who cares lol). Anyways, they plan to re-open under a new name “Luna Uptown”. Hope the food remains just as good or even better 🤞🏾
